THE AEROSPACE GROWTH PARTNERSHIP

Securing the Future of UK Aerospace

The Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP) is a strategic collaboration between the UK Government, the UK aerospace industry, and key stakeholders, established to secure the long-term future of one of the UK’s most advanced and globally competitive sectors.

Operating in an increasingly dynamic and competitive global landscape, the AGP serves as a central platform to remove barriers to growth, strengthen international competitiveness, increase exports, and expand the creation of high-value jobs across the UK.

Since its establishment in 2010, the AGP has brought together industry and government to deliver coordinated action across the aerospace ecosystem. It is governed by a Steering Board (“the Board”), supported by dedicated Working Groups focused on Strategy & Engagement, Manufacturing Supply Chain, and People & Skills, alongside a programme management function led by the AGP Programme Director.

Together, industry and government have set an ambitious vision:

Double the UK’s share of the global aerospace market by 2035 and enable up to fourfold sector growth by 2050, while leading the transition to Net Zero aviation.

Delivering this vision requires the rapid development and deployment of competitive, mature technologies at scale, supported by sustained investment, improved productivity, and close collaboration across the entire aerospace ecosystem – in which the AGP plays a key role.

The AGP continues to evolve to ensure it remains aligned with the UK’s industrial strategy and responsive to the needs of the aerospace sector, maintaining its role as a key forum for industry–government partnership.
