The AGP Board

The Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP) Board provides strategic leadership for the UK aerospace sector. It is a partnership between senior leaders from industry and the UK Government, working together to support growth, competitiveness, and long-term success.

The Board plays a central role in identifying opportunities, addressing barriers to growth, and supporting the creation of high-value, skilled jobs. Its overarching aim is to ensure the UK remains a global leader in aerospace.

What the Board Does

The AGP Board sets the overall direction of the partnership and ensures alignment with the UK’s broader economic and industrial priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining the AGP’s strategic vision, mission, and priorities
  • Approving sector-wide initiatives and major programme changes
  • Working with Government to shape policy and delivery
  • Ensuring the right structures and resources are in place to deliver objectives
  • Providing leadership to strengthen collaboration across the sector

Who’s Involved

The AGP Board brings together senior decision-makers from across the aerospace ecosystem, including industry, government, and key delivery partners.

Members are typically Chief Executives, Managing Directors, or equivalent senior leaders with responsibility for UK operations, ensuring decisions are made with authority and sector-wide impact.

    Governance and Leadership

The AGP Board is jointly led by Industry and Government Co-Chairs, who provide strategic direction and ensure alignment between sector priorities and national policy.

They are responsible for guiding Board activity, facilitating effective decision-making, and representing the AGP across industry and government forums.

      Government Partnership

The UK Government is a core partner in the AGP, working closely with industry to support the sector’s long-term success.

Through this partnership, Government helps to:

      • Align AGP activity with national industrial strategy
      • Support policy development and sector planning
      • Facilitate collaboration across departments
      • Enable delivery of key initiatives and programmes
      • Promote UK competitiveness, exports, and investment

This close collaboration between industry and Government is fundamental to the AGP’s ability to deliver meaningful impact for the UK aerospace sector.
