The AGP delivers its strategic objectives through a structured governance framework comprising the AGP Board, AGP Council, and a number of dedicated Working Groups. These groups bring together representatives from industry, government, public bodies, academia, trade associations, and wider stakeholders across the UK aerospace ecosystem.
Following the 2025 restructure, the AGP has been streamlined to ensure it remains aligned with the UK’s evolving industrial strategy landscape and continues to provide an effective mechanism for sector-wide collaboration and delivery.
The AGP currently operates two core Working Groups:
This group focuses on strengthening the competitiveness, productivity, capability, and resilience of the UK aerospace manufacturing base. It develops and supports initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and enable long-term sector growth.
This group ensures the UK aerospace sector has access to the skills it needs both now and in the future. It focuses on developing talent pipelines, supporting workforce development, and strengthening long-term capability to maintain global competitiveness.
The AGP Council provides strategic coordination across all Working Groups by assigning themes, overseeing alignment with Board priorities, and ensuring consistency across programmes and initiatives.
